The new “Hazret Sultan Mosque” is located in the new center of Astana and designed in Islamic style, combining with the Kazakh architecture figures and has a capacity of 5.000 people. The new Mosque consists of two sections. One is include the main building of the mosque itself and the other an adjacent vestibule area on a stylobate.

The building covers 17,733 square meters while the entire complex covers 20,600 square meters. The height of the main dome is 51 m and four minarets are 77 m high. The complex includes the mosque, a Quran reading hall, a teaching area, a restaurant and a cafe. There is also an imam’s cabinet, a wedding room and other special areas.
